First things first, thanks for the fantastic semester! This was our last active week of the Spring and we hope to see you all in the Fall. We wish all of you a fantastic summer and a productive racing season! We will continue to update those in Bozeman with upcoming races and running opportunities. Keep in mind that Tuesday Night Track and Big Sky Winddrinkers will remain active throughout the summer!
Second, and last, the officers of the club will be meeting this weekend to discuss ways to improve the club. If you have any ideas or suggestions, send them our way and we will talk it over!
Just a reminder that we are running today, Wednesday, and Thursday at 7:00pm from the library.
See you there,
Hope you guys are all enjoying winter’s return after those warm days we just had! We are making our final time change of the year now that we have enough light and we are adding a third day. We will now be meeting at 7:00pm in front of the library on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Also now that we are starting to have some nicer weather and the trail conditions are more reliable we will be increasing our mileage a bit.
Just a reminder we are running on our usual schedule this week (Monday/Wednesday at 6:30pm from the library) and that the Roskie Run is this Friday night (registration starts at 5:15 and race is at 6:00).
Hope you are all having a damn fine spring thus far! In my Spring update email I failed to include the Roskie Run! If you end up running it you should wear those awesome RunMSU shirts because, you know, they’re awesome. So here’s the info:
Roskie Run is just around the corner! April 5th! Registration starts at 5:15pm outside Roskie Hall. The run starts at 6pm. Get there early so you can grab a T-shirt before they run out. The cost of the run is $8 and a portion of that supports the Boys and Girls Club.
Just a reminder we are running at 6:30pm today and Wednesday from the library.
See you there,
We had one nice day of warm weather which means, here in Montana anyway, that Spring is nearly here! With Spring comes the start of the prime running season and plenty of ways to get in shape.
03/23/13 – The Handicapped Fun Run
The Big Sky Winddrinkers are hosting a fun run tomorrow starting at Grant and 11th at 9am. There are three different distances to run and plenty of people to run with!
04/02/13 – The first 2013 Tuesday Night Track workout!
6pm at the MSU track, get ready to sweat and be sore the next day. TNT’s vary in distance and interval types but there are plenty of people to run with!
That’s all for now! If you have questions send me an email at email@example.com
I hope everyone had a great spring break! Now that we have switched to daylight savings time and have more light in the evenings we will be metting at 6:30pm at the library on Mondays and Wednesdays.
See you there,
Just a reminder that we are running today and Wednesday at our usual 5:00pm time from the library this week. Also with the upcoming time change we plan to push the time back after spring break, we will let you guys know what the new time will be later on.
See you tonight,
The shortened week means we will only be meeting on Wednesday, 5:00pm at the same place (Renee Library).
In other news, there are a few races coming up for those looking to break the monotony of winter base mileage. The Snow-Joke half-marathon is this upcoming Saturday in Seeley Lake. I will be running this so if someone needs a ride there, just let me know. However, the race begins at 11am, so I will be leaving around 5am (it’s a 3.5-hour drive).
The Run to the Pub is March 16th so sign up soon! I can’t say enough about the awesomeness of this race. Seriously, it’s pretty dang cool.
The week after the Run to the Pub is a neat little race in Billings called “Race the Rabbit”. The 3.75 miler takes place on trails and is sponsored by Zoo Montana. Further incentive – all proceeds go to Make-A-Wish. I’ll be running this one as well and can offer a ride to and from the race.
That is all for now, see you all on Wednesday!
